Reviews and Ratings
I had a great time at this hotel for college students. The rooms had all the facilities I needed and were comfortable for one person. The food was just excellent, and I could easily access the swimming pool at the bigger hotel. However, the location wasn't the nicest part of Zermatt.
The hotel had everything we needed for a short stay, with a view of the Matterhorn from the rooms, complete with kitchenware. The service provided by the Best Western staff, including an upgrade and organizing a 5 am taxi, was top-notch. However, the location, a bit far from the main gondola and train station, was a minor inconvenience. The dining experience at the Best Western hotel, about a 7-minute walk from the property, was excellent, offering a typical Swiss breakfast. Overall, a cool stay with global dishes and spa services available.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, equipped with modern amenities, although there was a slight funky smell outside the rooms. The service was friendly and accommodating, offering convenient options like leaving skis and boots in residence. The location was convenient, close to transportation but a bit tricky to find initially. The dining options, though delicious, were a bit expensive and lacked fresh fruit. Overall, a good value for the money.
My stay at the hotel was a delightful experience overall. The room was spacious, making it great for preparing our own meals, although it lacked breakfast options. The service was friendly and accommodating, although lacking some information. The location was peaceful but a bit far from certain attractions. The dining experience was decent but could use more variety. The facilities were adequate for a pleasant stay.
The Best Western Alpenresort Hotel offered clean and comfortable rooms perfect for two people with a small balcony, though the decor seemed a bit worn out and dated, still providing everything we needed. The service was friendly and helpful, with staff going the extra mile to assist us, such as offering shuttle services and recommendations for our itinerary. While the location wasn't very close to the train station or main tourist attractions, it was situated in a quiet area at the entry side of the town. The dining experience in the affiliated hotel, just a short walk away, offered a variety of good dishes, but perhaps limited in some areas. Overall, our stay was pleasant with well-maintained facilities, making it a good value for the money.
